🎉 Waitwing v0.1.0 Release Notes
The first release. While your AI works, your code compiles or a download crawls along, click the menu bar and the desktop you're looking at turns into a sleeping voxel continent. Fly a little plane over it and wake it up.
✨ New Features
- Your desktop is the map - Window positions and sizes become plateaus, canyons and lakes, so every flight is different. The screenshot stays in memory, is never saved, and the game never reads the text on your screen
- Wherever you fly, it wakes up - Skim the ground and grass, flowers and houses grow in your wake. Every region has a village, a small town, a harbor or a canyon hamlet
- 17 little puzzles - Cut the vines, route the canals, light the lamps, tangrams, box pushing, mazes and more. Every puzzle sits in its own clearing, so no cliff blocks the view
- Your Dock apps become creatures - Solve a puzzle to free the one guarding it, and it flies along with you
- Moment cards - Pick one moment to keep when you land, and leaf through them later in your album
- A pigeon tells you when the AI is done - Connect Claude Code or Codex and a carrier pigeon flies in when a task finishes
- Automatic updates - A small arrow on the menu bar icon means a new version is ready. It installs only when you click, never mid-flight, and downloads only what changed. You can turn it off in Settings
